      HHPLift is a team where everyone contributes something unique, positive, and inspiring.

      Dena Hirschberg

      President & CEO

      Dena leads HHPLift and started with the company in 2012 as a sales manager, becoming Executive VP of Sales and Marketing in 2016. Since becoming president in 2018, She has overseen the company’s growth in existing and new channels of distribution, with a focus on the promotional products market, incentive companies, and retail industry. She has developed successful new revenue streams for the company, integrating the HHPLift mission into all facets of the business. Dena re-developed and re-launched the company’s LiftWorks™ Program and assembled the team responsible for creating its successful brand. Her sales team continues to increase the company’s annual sales revenue. Much of her time, currently, is spent on strategy, growth, and fundraising. 


      Dena has worked on numerous strategic innovation and new product development teams for Fortune 500s, is co-founder of a multiple award-winning toy company, and is a graduate of Northwestern University. 


      She is grateful for her amazing teams, both at HHPLift and at home.

      Tom Myers

      Director of Sales

      Prior to joining HHPLift, Tom was involved in Sales Management (Director of Sales, National Sales Mgr.), with Nikon Inc. Throughout his career, Tom’s experience was in directing all sales channels – Retail, Government, Military, Promotional, Corporate, and Incentive. His passion is to collaborate with the entire sales team to expand sales channels, and assist in taking HHPLift to new and exciting sales levels.

      Gwenda Kline
      Finance Manager

      Prior to working at HHPLift, I worked in various accounting fields at large corporations for many years. This is the second smaller corporation that I have worked for, which gives a much more detailed scope of the ends and outs. My experiences here have been rewarding and I enjoy the family like atmosphere and the work that I accomplish. Working for a nonprofit adds a new, enjoyable dimension to my work experience.

      Ava Berry

      LiftWorks™ Program Co-Director

      Ava came to HHPLift in 2018, eager to bring her experience to the world of Social Enterprise. After practicing law in the 90s, she shifted her energies toward public service. She completed an apprenticeship with Public Allies under the direct leadership of Michelle Obama. Next, she spent time as a CPS teacher in North Lawndale. She and her business partner launched a successful toy business lasting 20 years. Ava is a certified Yoga instructor. She enjoys weekly visits to Growing Home in Englewood, picking out fresh produce for our community salad.

      Alejandra Camargo
      LiftWorks™ Program Co-Director

      Alejandra started working at HHPLift in 2018. As the Co-Director of the LiftWorks™ program, Alejandra works directly with Program associates to elevate their skills while they are on their path to finding full-time employment. Alejandra has a big heart for animals. She has rescued a wild parakeet, a dog, and multiple squirrels.

      Tauna Kruse

      Director Corporate Relations, Fundraising

      Tauna has 25 years of experience in the promotional industry, leveraging many successful years in sales incentives, marketing, promotions and print. During her tenure she developed a powerful blend of strategic and hands-on product knowledge while keeping up with the trends. She is active in her community and, along with her family, she volunteers at Honor Flight Chicago, her church and local women’s outreach programs.

      Senior Account Manager Multi-Channel Sales

      Nick began at HHPLift in 2018. He enjoys working at a social enterprise where the day to day translates directly to meaningful impact. He is a manager in all HHPLift's B2B and B2C sales channels and Director of HHPLift's annual fundraiser.

      Catherine Cox 

      Social Enterprise Manager

      Catherine’s career started in journalism as special projects editor at Chicago Reader, moved to retail when she owned a craft supply store called City Crafts, and finally settled in product development. After designing and developing products from toys to patio furniture in factories around the world, she is delighted to have the opportunity use her skills to promote corporate social responsibility and the mission of HHPLift.

      Communications 
      Director

      Katey conceptualizes, writes, and designs marketing plans and campaigns. Her background is in marketing and communications, print production, and nonprofit organization management. She startles easily, loves dogs, eating seeds and leaves, and rollerblading.

      Debbie began her career with HHPLift in 2016, eager to work with an organization that gives back. With over 20 years’ experience, she enjoys working with numbers and lends her expertise to our Accounting Department. Her passions are her grandson and her 2 pups.

      Miguel Ortiz

      LiftWorks™ Workshop Supervisor

      Miguel joined the HHPLift family in 2020 and quickly rose to become the LiftWorks™ Program Workshop Supervisor. In this role, Miguel oversees production of all spa goods and leads our robust team of Production Associates. He brought with him his expertise in printing as well as mechanical technician repair skills. In his free time, Miguel enjoys designing and creating small machines, which boast efficiency and simplicity.

She studies management and finance and uses those skills as our Marketing and Sales Coordinator.

      Julia Cramarosso

      LiftWorks™ Junior Program Associate

      Julia joined HHPLift in 2019, bringing with her excitement and an unmatched work ethic. You may recognize her name as the artist from the LiftWorks™ limited edition Hot Cocoa scented candle! Julia is adept at creating soaps and candles. She is eager and open to learning anything that comes her way. Julia is thankful for her coworkers who are always friendly and helpful team players. Julia feels inspired and grows every week at the LiftWorks™ Program. Julia has several pets. Her favorite animals are guinea pigs. In her spare time, Julia loves watching horror movies and creating art.

      Harry Zucker

      LiftWorks™ Junior Program Associate 

      Harry joined HHPLift in 2018. Since onboarding, Harry has learned to create candles and soaps from start to finish. He assists in data entry, helps to organize products, and is responsible for recycling. Harry has also honed in on his soft skills, such as time management, teamwork, communication, and adaptability. Harry gives back to his community weekly by volunteering to provide food to nearby retirement homes.
